Rory S WhiteHi there,

I have one goal and that’s to help you explode YOUR online business.

I live in New Zealand and look forward to connecting with you.

I started my first home based business about 9 years ago after the construction company I worked for closed down.

I managed to find part time work as a concrete curer and sealer and decided to start a home based business in my spare time.  I joined a nutritional MLM with an “Old School MLM” team doing home & hotel meetings, bothering friends and family, cold calling, handing out DVD’s and the whole nine yards!

I actually did reasonably well in my MLM for a while but it soon became obvious that my team were bailing out faster than I could recruit more!  I was trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it and lost my belief in the business model I was promoting!

This is when I turned to the internet.  What an eye opener that was!  I was instantly gripped by the endless possibilities and started purchasing ebooks and getting roped into one thing after another. I enjoyed bursts of success and even got to a point where I believed I could give up my concrete work altogether and go full time online which I did.

I could now spend all my time at my computer but this lead to total information overload.  I was following advise from so many different people and ended up spending a lot more than I was earning!  I soon had several credit cards maxed out and still nothing bringing in a steady daily profit.

Under pressure from my bank, my accountant and my family I had to stop what I was doing before it ruined us forever.  So I went through everything I had ever set up and basically shut it all down.  I cancelled all my subscriptions and took myself off hundreds of mailing lists to stem the flow of endless emails and pretty much packed up working online for good.

The only thing I kept going was my autoresponder account with Aweber.  I was tired of the endless hours at my computer and decided I needed to go back to full time work.  The dream was over!

I couldn’t face going back to concrete curing and sealing which involved long physical hours working alone at night and weekends curing concrete while the building site was clear of other workers. I’ve always had a passion for the sea and decided that if I had to go back to a “job” I would try and find work doing something I actually enjoyed. So, I went back to school and joined the local School of Marine Studies.  I did my STCW95 and started crewing for our local Sea Shuttle Service and then went on to get my Skippers ticket.

We have two full crews and work four days on and four days off.  I love my days at sea but in my four days off the lure of the computer became irresistable once again!  I began plotting my comeback!  I’d learnt a lot from my mistakes and this time I would do it right!

The key was to keep it simple – THIS IS THE ANSWER.
